postheadericon Patrick Valtin delivers his master New era Selling workshop in Budapest – Hungary, February 2010.

Patrick Valtin was in Budapest again, right after his trip to Moscow, to deliver his famous New Era Selling workshop to over 250 attendees. Organized by the Hubbard College of Administration – Central Europe, the workshop was a huge success and allowed attendees to have a new viewpoint on the current market conditions.

Many attendees were back at the workshop form a previous session, 6 months ago. When asked why they came back, all of them were straight: they won so much out of the first workshop that the most logical thing to do was to come back!!!

A very well done to the Hubbard College of Administration Central Europe, for their amazing organization and performance. The whole event was a great success and the Hubbard College staff were all extremely efficient, service-minded and above all, so nice to work with!!!

On September 19/20 2009, Patrick delivered his famous Crisis Buster event, in cooperation with Joy Gendusa, founder of Postcardmania. Over 130 business owners and sales professionals attended the 2-day event. Raving feedbacks were given. As a matter of facts, many attendees admitted to have a life-changing experience during the w-e.

This was a great success for all and tons of ideas were shared on the subjects of marketing, sales and finances. All attendees went back home with a practical, down-to-earth assignments.

One idea shared during the event was the creation of a community “think tank”. Over 40 attendees decided to create one and have already scheduled their first meeting in Clearwater.

A huge crowd of 250 business owners and consultants gathered in the outskirts of Moscow on September 26 to September 28, 2009, to enjoy the annual WISE convention of the CIS. Patrick was invited to lecture on his famous Crisis Buster event – a series of practical, down-to-earth tips to help people win through the toughest times.

Patrick also delivered 2 other lectures: one on the true source of the current societal problems (The Truth behind Economic crises) and the other one on the power of disagreeing with stops and barriers in life.

Other speakers were involved in this great event, addressing the topics of marketing, networking and ethics in business.

Russia remains a high-potential-growth country where over 32% of young people dream of starting their own business. It is always a pleasure to share management principles with a very educated, eager public.

On September 28 to 30, Patrick also delivered 2 seminars for the local Hubbard College of Administration. One day was about sales management; the second seminar was about sales. Over 80 professional sales people attended the sales seminar, in the heart of Moscow.

Invited by Business Success of Check Republic, Patrick Valtin spent 4 days in the capital with over 150 business owners and sales professionals. The first two days were dedicated to marketing. Patrick delivered an action-packed workshop, with plenty of drills and practicals.

The next two days were dedicated to the New Era Selling System. Again, over 150 publics attended this unique sales workshop. A few of them were actually back from the previous year, to reinforce their success action from their first encounter with the New Era Selling System. The common feedback is indeed that people who apply this unique strategic approach in selling boost their sales results as an immediate effect. Sales increases of  40 to 80% are regularly reported as a direct consequence of attendance.

We did it again! Over 300 sales professionals and executives gathered in Budapest, to attend Patrick’s famous sales seminar. A joyful group happily sweated through drills and practicals, fully determined to beat the assumed economic crisis in the country.

Organized by the Central Europe Hubbard College of Administration, this 2-day seminar was again a great success. A special acknowledgment to all the staff of the College: they worked very hard to have this seminar in their new premises, at the China Trade Center of Budapest. 

postheadericon Patrick Valtin delivers the Hubbard Management technology in Astana, March 2009.

From March 17 to march 21, Patrick Valtin was in Astana, Kazakhstan, working with the company Bahit Kazakhstan and the consulting company ATManagement of St Petersburg. Patrick was invited by ATManagement to introduce the Hubbard Management technology to Bahit’s top management team. Over 80 executives attended Patrick’s seminar on Management Strategy.

It was a great success. Bahit Kazakhstan is a great company, its people are dedicated to expand and to make the company a leader in the country. The general manager and founder, Mr. Bahit, is a very strong leader whose purpose and ambition are to not only bring the company into a leadership position but also to develop a model company and to contribute to the development of his country.

 The ATManagement consultants have been very busy helping the Bahit’s company to implement the principles of the Hubbard Management Tehcnology, so that the coming expansion can be under total control. Uncontrolled expansion is indeed a major source of trouble of many companies and Bahit company is very motivated to expand stably, strongly and continuously.

At the end of the four-day session, the whole ATManagement team and the founders of the Bahit company had the pleasure to visit the Pyramid, an amazing monument dedicated to freedom and religious tolerance. This monument has been the center of international conferences on the subject of religious freedom. It is a symbol Kazakhstan’s more than 100 ethnicities as well as its leaders’ ambition to promote tolerance and peace among various ethnic groups.

We ended the trip with a nice dinner in a typical restaurant.

Patrick was in Moscow again on March 16th, invited by WISE CIS – the national representative organization of the Hubbard Management technology, to deliver a special marketing strategy seminar to over 45 loyal customers. We spent the day working on developing the most effective marketing campaigns.

Many existing pieces of promotion were studied; all attendees had a chance to work out their own campaign and tested it out with other participants.

In early February 2009, Patrick Valtin delivered 2 seminars (sales and marketing) for business owners and sales professionals in Kosice, Slovakia.  Over 115 people attended the four days. The seminars were organized by the Hubbard College of Administration of Slovakia.

In February 2009, Patrick Valtin delivered a unique sales seminar for business owners and sales professionals in Budapest, Hungary.  More than 1,100 people attended over three days. Hungarians are great people, extremely active and willing to work hard. The seminar was a hard-chore series of drills on how to deal with the crisis and desperate customers.

Also, Patrick also delivered his unique Recrutech workshop to 32 executives on a fourth day. postheadericon How to lead your business or yourself through and out of the economic crisis

image024 Patrick V. Valtin is an international sales & Marketing consultant and management coach. He has trained over 75,000 people in more than 25 countries. He recently was lecturing in Athens, invited by AMT Management.

You want to survive and be able to experience expansion, while everybody else believes this is the worst economic crisis – and is set to last for the rest of their life? Follow the 3 rules below:

RULE NUMBER ONE:

IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY, YOU HAVE NO REASON FOR WORRY! The current economic crisis is “just” a repetition of the past. Don’t you remember “Black Monday? It refers to Monday, October 19, 1987, when stock markets around the world crashed. The Black Monday decline was the largest one-day percentage decline in stock market history. But all world stock markets rallied in less than 1.5 year.

Then, nobody has forgotten the 1991-1992 world crisis, right after the Iraq war: huge peaks in oil prices, a steep decline in the commercial real estate market and a credit crisis (featuring the infamous savings and loan collapses of the late 1980s). This crisis ended in 1994 and world stock markets hit top values in less than 2 years.

And of course, 2001-2002 is just in our back. The attacks had a significant economic impact on the United States and world markets. The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), and NASDAQ did not open on September 11 and remained closed until September 17. When the stock markets reopened, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) stock market index fell 684 points, or 7.1%, to 8921, a record-setting one-day point decline. By the end of the week, the DJIA had fallen 1,369.7 points (14.3%), its largest one-week point drop in history.

But recovery came faster than expected, world stock market hitting again unparallel top levels within less than 2 years and continued to climb until 6-7 months ago.

So the morale of the story? Crises always bring recoveries and these come faster than many dare hope. I have personally lived and survived through 6 crises in 50 years. I have grown stronger and smarter out of each of them. And so have you, I am sure!

RULE NUMBER TWO:

IGNORE the bad news. Do not read or listen to the bad news in the papers, radio or TV. I am sorry to say, but listening to these bad news, gossips and rumors will not do you any good.

You will find out that the mass media are specialized in scaring you to death. When you understand that, you want to get access only to “good news” media. And there are some! Good news brings good news. Insist on getting good news at least once a day! And also put your attention on giving your friends, your employees or your colleagues good news at least once a day.

I once advised a customer who did not know what to send out for promotion. He was concerned that his customers were complaining about his bi-weekly email newsletter. I told him “well, double it. Send them good news…” He took it by the letter and started to send his 20,000 customer base some success stories or good news from happy customers, on a weekly basis. Nobody ever complained about that – and he “miraculously” started to make more money!

So: spread good news around, in life and in business. Suggest people around you to do the same. Surround yourself of people who are good news – and you will soon see a big difference in the business… and in life. I like to live with the following principle: “One good news a day keeps the trouble away!

RULE NUMBER THREE:

GO NUTS on your promotional actions. Increase your reach to your market. This means, literally: increase your communications to your mailing list. Are you sending 1,000 promo pieces per week? Start sending 3,000 of them. Spend less money on quality and more money on quantity. During tough times, most people and businesses tend to introvert and reduce their reach out to the society or to their market. Don’t do that, as it is a fatal mistake!

You may have to double or triple your promotional actions. So what? If you were stopping your marketing and promotional efforts what would happen to your business? It would die… well, what will happen to it if you multiply your promotional actions? It will grow.

So here is the tip. Find out what was your best promotional action, ever! Which promo was giving you big business? Do it again!!! It does not matter if it was one or 5 years ago. Find out what promo was successful and do it again BUT IN HIGHER QUANTITIES. Find the money to multiply your reach out to your market. Sure, you should economize; spend less money on less valuable actions. But your business will grow to the extent that you are (still) existent in the eyes of customers. Promotion is the last thing you want to reduce. Triple or even more what you have ever been effectively promoting!

Conclusion: do what most people don’t. Go against the flow. Do what Warren Edward Buffett recently suggested in a CNN interview: “When people are greedy I am worried. When people are worried I am greedy”! I always like to take advice from people who proved to be right! Warren was ranked by Forbes as the richest man in the world during the first half of 2008, with an estimated net worth of $62.0 billion. In his recent interview he laughed when the reporter told him why he was not worried about the current world crisis. His response: “I got rich also because I learned to disagree with the bad news…”

The event was organized by the company “Intention” – the local representative of the Hubbard Management Technology. The Kaliningrad business community is very dynamic and attendees were very participative. Many business connections and new friends were made.

The Hubbard Management technology is very popular in Russia and has been attracting tens of thousands of business people from every place in the CIS.

On August 23, 2008, Patrick was in Almaty, delivering two special seminars for the local business community. The first one was his famous hiring seminar, in which he revealed his secret hiring techniques. The second seminar was about smart marketing strategies – including internet marketing strategies. The public was great and highly participative. The organizer, Esto Company, also invited Patrick to discover the surroundings of Almaty – as well as the beautiful nearby mountains.

Patrick also delivered for AMT on Monday and Tuesday evening to over 20 business owners each day (Marketing and internet marketing).

Patrick Valtin travelled to Russia for the WISE consultants’ convention, May 11 to 13. He took part in the delivery of the convention, mainly dedicated to consulting individuals or groups. It was a great success, over 60 members attended. Patrick’s covered topic was “how to develop and expand a successful consulting/training activity”.

Patrick Valtin travelled to Brno on April 14, 2008. He delivered 2 seminars to a total of over 520 people – business owners or executives of small-to-medium sized businesses. postheadericon Klaus Hilgers: a great friend who we all love

Klaus Hilgers with book Power of AgreementsOn February 28, 2008, Klaus Hilgers left his body. He was great friend to tens of thousands of people, around the world. He was also a pioneer speaker and consultant specialized in the Hubbard Management Technology; Klaus had trained over 50,000 people in more than 20 countries. He was deeply respected and loved by all who had a chance to listen to him.

On a recent trip to Kazakhstan, Klaus suddenly became weak and had to be urgently hospitalized. I happened to land in Almaty that day. I was able to be with him for two days, helping him to go through all the medical trouble. Klaus remained serene and very calm, at all times. He even had the guts to make jokes and made fun of my French accent, while I was controlling the commotion among the doctors.

Klaus was an amazing being. I used to call him the “seriously unserious!” as he had a unique talent to fake seriousness and make everyone cry of laughter during his lectures. But he was also a source of inspiration for a lot of us. I was personally very much driven by his competence and leadership in what he was doing best: teaching others how to succeed and be happy in life!

Klaus will not be forgotten. His works remain with us; his talent for reaching thousands of people will always inspire us. I am proud to have met him and to have had a chance to learn from him.

Peggy, his wife, is the most powerful and inspiring lady I have ever met. Her presence with us is a great consolation and will help all of us endure Klaus’ sudden leaving. With Peggy, his “seriously un-seriousness” will continue to make us laugh and his talent will continue to inspire each of us.

I am proud to have met Klaus and to have been one of his close friends.

Patrick Valtin travelled to Almaty and Moscow for two weeks. Over 700 people attended his seminars. The first one was conducted for the national WISE office in Moscow. A two-day seminar was delivered on the subject of recruitment to over 90 executives. The same seminar was delivered in Almaty in the following two days.  It was an intensive, practical session where all attendees had a chance to drill and test their freshly acquired competences on the subject.

 Patrick Valtin travelled to Kosice and to Budapest at the end of January. He delivered 3 seminars to a total of over 350 people – business owners or executives of small-to-medium sized businesses. The public  was very high tone and showed a lot of interest. The subjects were: people management, sales management, recruitment and marketing strategies.  hun1.jpg

These institutes are very dynamic and have delivered seminars or courses to tens of thousands of executives in both countries. They enjoy an amazing reputation and are definitely contributing to increased business efficiency in both countries.

The subject of “marketing your product right” has become a very hot issue in both countries, with increasingly competitive markets.Patrick also delivered a special chapter on Internet marketing. postheadericon Taiwan Wise Convention, Kao-Hsiung – November 2007.

Patrick Valtin was invited as a guest speaker at the recent Taiwan Wise convention. The convention was held in the beautiful “Holidays Garden” hotel, in Kao-Hsiung (south of Taiwan).

Patrick Valtin delivered his famous “sales Strategies” seminar to more than 170 attendees. It was a great success and many practical drills were performed by the public.

Taiwan is truly a unique country. People are very enthusiastic, hard workers and always willing to learn more. The food is great and Taiwanese have an exclusive sense of hospitality.

Patrick Valtin was also invited to deliver a special sales lecture in Guangdong, China. A rapidly expanding city, Guangdong hosts hundreds of factories. It also has more 5-star hotels than any other city in China – the obvious sign of a strong international economic presence.

postheadericon Russia Wise Convention, Moscow – October 2007

Patrick Valtin was invited as a guest speaker at the Moscow Wise convention, held on October 5 to 6. The convention was held in a very nice resort, in the suburbs of Moscow. An impressive 285 people attended this convention – from all over the CIS.

Patrick Valtin delivered lectures on successful organization and leadership, as well as a special lecture on selling. He also gathered with the CIS Wise consultants and gave a briefing on how to be a successful consultant.

As always, the Russian attendees were uniquely attentive and active. With a booming national economy, competent and dynamic consultants are needed to help local businesses strengthen their expansion. What happens today in Russia is indeed very impressive; more entrepreneurs start a new business in Russia than in any other country in the world!

Patrick Valtin did a whole tour in Russia. He travelled to Tartarztan and to Siberia. He then came back to Moscow where he delivered a sales seminar for the Moscow Hubbard College of Administration. Patrick was touring almost 3 weeks altogether.

“Effective company and competent personnel – how to create business expansion and your success”

clip_image001 XI Annual WISE CIS Convenion 2007 took place in a beautiful place – recreation center “Pokrovskoye”, 50 km from Moscow – from 4th till 7th of October.  When we came to the place through weekend traffic jams of Moscow and Moscow suburbs  “Pokrovskoye” met us with cheerful lights.

285 people (Highest Ever!) took part in the convention – the business owners and executives who apply LRH admin tech in their companies, some staff of such companies and also their partners and clients who have been invited to the convention by WISE members and WISE consultants. Representatives of seven CIS and Baltic countries (former Republics of Soviet Union) from dozens of cities were present at the convention.

The convention program was very intensive. There were many other interesting events:

CO WISE CIS Vladimir Kuropiatnik delivered a seminar “The WISE Membership Orgboard. Benefits of a WISE member”. The attendees got a better reality on what is WISE and what is the role of every WISE member on the WISE orgboard.

Some WISE members gave examples of their activities. On the picture below: the President of Moscow Business Expansion Club Artem Babakhanov talks about BEC activities. (BEC Moscow has been a winner of the International BEC Birthday Game for the last 3 years.)

clip_image004 There were a number of round tables which draw a lot of attention and were very successful. CO WISE CIS conducted a round table on how to organize in-house training for a company. Over 80 people came to share their own successful actions and to learn others’ experience. At the end everybody who didn’t have yet an in-house academy raised their hands on the question “who has decided to open an academy this year?”.

clip_image006 Another round table which got a lot of interest was “Consultants’ activities – orientation on product. MAKH implementation in clients’ companies; problems and solutions”.  

clip_image008 And of course there was a round table “How to make your BEC productive and attractive to public. Successful actions on how to organize a BEC”. This round table was traditionally conducted by the Membership Activation Officer Sergey Hohlenko (who is responsible for MAKH programs implementation) and the President of BEC Moscow Artem Babakhanov.
